As a community leader, I have served as Senior Pastor of the Corinthian Baptist Church of Cincinnati since 1988. Corinthian hosted a panel discussion led by LifeCenter to discuss kidney health and its effects on the African American community. I participated in a webinar featuring faith leaders from different religious backgrounds sharing our perspectives on donation. I counsel the congregation when they have questions about donation and encourage them to discuss their decision with their families. I’ve also allowed LifeCenter the opportunity to hand out materials. The need for more donors is great, and the decision to register as a donor is personal, and an act of charity.
