TRANSPLANT CENTER LIAISON

LOUISVILLE, KY

My mother was a donor at age 58 in 2007, my uncle died waiting for a heart transplant, and another uncle donated his kidney to his wife as part of a paired exchange. I’ve devoted my life to the service of others, and it’s been an absolute gift to be a part of the donation and transplantation community for almost 30 years. I’m passionate about advocating for others in need, both donor families (living and deceased) or recipients during their journey.

DONATION SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR II

CINCINNATI, OH

My father, Art, was a cornea donor in December of 2017. The pockets of my dad’s coat were full of gift cards when he died; he was planning to give them to his coworkers and people he connected with on a regular basis in the community for Christmas. So, it is fitting that the gift of eyesight would be his final gift. Giving was a part of my dad’s moral fiber. The death of my beloved dad built a bridge for me to cross over into this fulfilling career with Network for Hope, expanding my donation connection with my Network for Hope family, and the donor families for whom it is a privilege to serve.
