A Champion for Life is someone who has been an outstanding advocate for organ, tissue, and eye donation in the community. This could be anyone – a doctor, nurse, organ recipient, friend, family member or religious leader.
The Theodore E. Smith award recognizes the contributions of individuals who have made significant contributions in the education and/or promotion of the importance of organ, tissue, and eye donation in communities of color.
The Legacy Award will be presented to a Donor Family who has made a significant contribution to furthering Network for Hope’s mission and vision in honor of their loved one in the community.
The Samantha Jameson Vision Award will be presented to a Network for Hope staff member, who, like Sam, passionately advocates for the Gift of Life in the community. The award is given to the staff member who has gone above and beyond to honor the selfless act of organ, tissue, and eye donation.
